“Are we ruled by a king?” asked Rabbit.
“No” said Bear “We are ruled by those who think we’ve forgotten our own power”
“But don’t kings make the rules?” asked Rabbit.
“They try” said Bear “But rules built on fear and greed don’t hold if we refuse to bow”
“So what we do?” asked Rabbit
“ We remember who we are” said Bear “and we stand even when our legs shake”
“Even if we’re small?” asked Rabbit.
“Especially then” said Bear “because the world changes when those without crowns remember they still have voices”
